The Antereos Mad Dogs, a collection of elite high school basketball players from Newton, Mass., recently toured Brazil taking on the best 17 year old competition in Rio de Janeiro and Londrina. The Dogs snarled, shot and sprinted their way to a perfect 4-0 record. The Mad Dogs made friends all over Brazil while making the case for the continuing pre-eminence of fastbreak, move-the-ball American-style basketball.

When they weren't seeing the ball go through the hoop, they visited all the best sights in Rio , Londrina, and a final day in Sao Paulo. The wintery 80 degree weather made extended stays on Copacobana and Ipanema beaches mandatory amd seemed to ready the boys perfectly for the games that followed.
